The International Day of Girls in ICT will be marked for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, April 26, 2012, with a conference in Sarajevo that will discuss opportunities for study, work and personal development that information and communication technologies (ICT) offer to girls.

The CESI Association and the Girl Geek Dinner Croatia organized, at the end of March 2012, a series of workshops on the topic of “Women and ICT – Why Choose Career in the ICT Sector?”, which aimed to overcome the stereotypes about IT jobs as traditional male occupations and provide directions for action to women and girls who choose to pursue a career in that sector.
