After the December 1, 2020 Referendum in which the voters gave support to the “In the Name of Family” initiative to provide constitutional protection for the institutions of marriage as a union of a woman and a man, the LGBTIQ associations and other civil society organizations came forward with demands for urgent adoption of the Law on Life-long Partnerships and introduction of civic education in Croatian schools.

Youth Initiative for Human Rights Kosovo (YIHR KS) published, on November 14, 2013, the latest report on the position of the LGBT community in Kosovo. The survey was conducted over the last year and included interviews with state officials (human rights units), judges, police officers, medical professionals and interviews with the LGBT community in Kosovo.

The organizing committee of the Pride 2013 organized a protest walk last Friday, September 27, in Belgrade, to protest the decision of state authorities to ban the Pride. A group of about 200 citizens, activists and members of the LGBT community gathered in front of the Government of Serbia and walked to the Serbian Parliament.
