Once again, Mitrovicë/Mitrovica Municipality has urged TV Mitrovica to leave its present work premises in three days.

Director of TV Mitrovica Nexhmedin Spahiu and Kosovo Association of the Independent Broadcast Media (AMPEK) believe that this is a political decision.

During July last year the municipality ordered police to take TV Mitrovica out of its building, however this decision was strongly condemned by associations for defending journalists and media freedom.

The launch of the Kosovo 2.0 magazine edition dedicated to exploration of heterosexual and same sex sexuality in Western Balkans, held last Friday, December 14, 2020 in Prishtina/Priština was disrupted by a group of about 20 men who rushed the stage at the Youth Centre (Boro Ramizi) and beat up one of the employees of the magazine, chanting homophobic slogans like “Out Pederasts!” and “God is great!”.
