Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIRN) has launched in late June, the campaign "Stop Censorship of war crimes" against witholding of information on war crimes which, due to the internal regulation of Sarajevo court in the past year become the practice in across the country.

Over the past several days, there has been a lot of debate whether to consider the month-long protests over ID numbers (JMBG) in BiH failed or succeeded. On July 1, 2013, the protesters presented the MPs with a note of termination of employment after they failed to adopt the Law on the Unique Master Citizen Number (JMBG) before the deadline the protesters set expired.
