TANGO exists with the goal to provide support and assistance to associations and civic activism, as well as various forms of technical support. TANGO is active in the field of NGO capacity building, civic sector development and establishment of economically strong and democratic society in Serbia.

A lot remains to be done on the development of the civil society in Serbia and Montenegro. The countries in the region, like Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, are years ahead of us. I hope that the adoption of the EU Feasibility Study will lead to opening of accession funds of the EU, which should greatly improve the overall situation.
