Ministarstvo okolia prostornog uređenja i graditeljstva objavilo je na svojim Internet stranicama (www.mzopu.hr) saetak studije utjecaja na okoli za produljenje rada NE Pacs u Mađarskoj, stotinjak kilometara od Hrvatske granice. Zelena akcija smatra da je navedena studija nedostatna i stoga trai njenu dopunu.

The Open Society Justice Initiative, an operational program of the Open Society Institute (OSI), joins with Central European University (CEU) to announce the Justice Initiative Fellows Program for 2007-2009. The aim of the program is to support and expand a network of lawyers and activists working internationally on human rights-related issues. Established in 1996, the Justice Initiative Fellows Program has graduated 155 fellows from more than 20 countries.

The UNICEF Regional Office for Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CEE/CIS) has launched the Reference Guide on Protecting the Rights of Child Victims of Trafficking in Europe, a new tool designed specifically for use by those working to protect children victims of trafficking within the European region.

Organizacije Multikultura Egyesulet iz Mađarske, Zwiazek Podhalan Oddizal Koscielsko iz Poljske, Inicijative iz Srbije, i MINGOS sa Kosova započele su zajednički projekat "Evropski identitet mladih". Projekat će biti realizovan na četiri mesta, dva u Evropskoj Uniji (Poljska, Mađarska), i dva na zapadnom Balkanu (Srbija i Kosovo).

A report released yesterday warns of HIV crisis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, if policies protecting sex workers and public are not created. It shows that in this region experiencing one of the fastest-growing and mainly drug use driven HIV epidemics in the world sex work, drug use, and HIV are inextricably linked. Comprehensive action and greater commitment is critical to prevent the spread of HIV among sex workers and into the general population, says the report produced by Central and Eastern European Harm Reduction Network.
