31.05.2006 Komisioni Republikan i Referendumit ka vërtetuar edhe zyrtarisht në Podgoricë që referendumi i mbajtur mbi statusin shtetëror, i organizuar me 21 maj në Mal të Zi, i ka përmbushur kushtet e Bashkimit Evropian, respektivisht 55,5 për qind e votuesve të dalë në zgjedhje ka mbështetur pavarësinë.

31.05.2006 Republicka referendumska komisija zvanicno je u Podgorici potvrdila da je referendum o drzavnom statusu, odrzan 21. maja u Crnoj Gori, ispunio uslov Evropske unije, odnosno da je 55,5 odsto biraca izaslih na glasanje podrzalo nezavisnost.

29.05.2006 Një rrjet rajonal i gazetarëve të pavarur nga Bullgaria dhe ish-republikat jugosllave është themeluar në Beograd, në takimin rajonal të organizuar nga Federata Ndërkombëtare e Gazetarëve IFJ dhe Shoqata e Pavarur e Gazetarëve nga Serbia (NUNS).

29.05.2006 Evropska agencija za rekonstrukciju pozvala je na dostavljanje ponuda podrške Nacionalnoj strategiji za rešavanje problema izbeglica i interno raseljenih lica u implementaciji i asistenciji programa za raseljene u Crnoj Gori, uz finansijsku podršku programa CARDS Evroske unije.

29.05.2006 The OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro is alarmed by recent activities of the Republican Broadcasting Agency (RBA) Council. While the OSCE acknowledges the fact that an independent regulatory body should be entrusted with the authority to allocate broadcasting licences, it calls on the Council to respect national law and international standards, as well as decisions of judicial bodies such as the Supreme Court.

26.05.2006 Misija OEBS-a u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori je zabrinuta zbog politike izdavanja dozvola Saveta Republicke radiodifuzne agencije (RRA), i od tog tela traži da poštuje nacionalne zakone, međunarodne standarde i odluke Vrhovnog suda Srbije.

25.05.2006 Društvo sudija Srbije optužilo je članove Saveta Republičke radiodifuzne agencije (RRA) da omalovažavaju odluke Vrhovnog suda Srbije i prete sudijama te najviše sudske institucije, nadležne za odlučivanje o zakonitosti postupanja Saveta RRA i njegovih odluka.

25.05.2006 Centar za slobodne izbore i demokratiju (CESID) ocenio je da je ta organizacija radila na referendumu u Crnoj Gori u skladu sa zakonom i profesionalnim standardima i odbacio kritike upućene zbog odstupanja u proceni ishoda referenduma.

25.05.2006 The media campaign for the Montenegro Referendum was conducted correctly, but in the field work of the activists a number of inadequate actions were registered that could qualify as pressure on the voters, states the CEMI Centre for Monitoring in its Final Report on the Monitoring of Referendum Process. The Report provides a global evaluation of the overall referendum campaign, the work of the referendum bodies, as well as the conduct of the actual ballot day and the atmosphere after the results were announced.

24.05.2006 Koalicioni i Grave për Paqe, i përbërë nga gratë prej Kosovës dhe Serbisë, respektivisht Rrjeti i Grupeve të Grave të Kosovës RrGGK dhe Rrjeti i Grave në të Zeza, kanë lëshuar një deklaratë të përbashkët për qeveritë përkatëse dhe për vendimmarrësit ndërkombëtar, lidhur me temën aktuale të bisedimeve “mbrojtja dhe ruajtja e trashëgimisë kulturore”, mbajtur 23 maj në Vjenë. Koalicioni me anë të kësaj deklarata ka kërkuar nga këta vendimmarrës që të: Respektojnë monumentet kulturore si pjesë e trashëgimisë universale kulturore; Sillen në mënyrë të përgjegjshme në raport me trashëgiminë kulturore si dhe ruajtjen e trashëgimisë kulturore në Kosovë në të ardhmen.

24.05.2006 On the night of May 12, 2006, unknown perpertrators wrote graffiti on the building which houses the offices of Lingua NGO in Kraljevo, with threatening messages such as "Death to Servants to America", "Traitors", "Long live Ratko Mladic", and the symbols of the neo-nazi organization "Stormfront".

24.05.2006 Predreferendumska kampanja u Crnoj Gori vodjena je u medijima dosta korektno, ali je tokom kampanje na terenu, preko aktivista, zabeležen veliki broj neadekvatnih postupaka koji bi se mogli opisati kao pritisci na glasače, navodi Centar za monitoring (CEMI) u finalnom izveštaju o nadgledanju referendumskog procesa.

24.05.2006 Predlog zakona o ravnopravnosti polova upućen je u proceduru Skupštine Srbije. Zakonom se garantuje ravnopravnost polova u svim oblastima društvenog života, a zabranjuje i novčano kažnjava ograničavanje tog prava. U zakonu se navodi da država vodi aktivnu politiku jednakih mogućnosti u svim oblastima društvenog života, i predviđa obaveza svih da poštuju ravnopravnost polova.
