The round-table discussion, organized under the auspices of the Civil Society Public Advocacy Initiative programme by the Civic Initiatives, in cooperation with ECNL Budapest and the Government Team for implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy, gathered about 60 participants. The debate, Institutional Models for Cooperation between the State and Civil Society was held at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.

Okrugli sto, koji je deo programa “Inicijativa za javno zagovaranje civilnog društva“, organizovale su Građanske inicijative u saradnji sa Evropskim centrom za neprofitno pravo (ECNL) iz Budimpešte i Timom Potpredsednika Vlade Republike Srbije za sprovođenje Strategije za smanjenje siromaštva, okupio je oko 60 predstavnika na okruglom stolu Institucionalni modeli saradnje države i civilnog društva, koji je održan u Palati Srbije u Beogradu.

Branko Lukovac, Ambassador of Montenegro to Croatia and the State Secretary of Higher Education of Croatia Radovan Fuks signed the Memorandum of Cooperation which covers, among other issues, the cooperation of the two countries in the field of doctoral studies.

NAKED FACTS is the fifth anti-trafficking campaign, under the motto Women are Not Meat; Children are not Slaves; People are not a commodity , implemented by ASTRA NGO. The campaign aims to raise public awareness and to warn the state institutions about the problem of trafficking in human beings in Serbia which is often neglected, in a society increasingly tollerant to violence and human rights violations.

GOLE ČINJENICE je peta anti-trafiking kampanja koju, pod motom Žene nisu meso; Deca nisu roblje; Ljudi nisu roba, NVO ASTRA vodi od početka svog rada. Cilj kampanje je da podseti kako širu javnost, tako i državne organe, da je problem trgovine ljudima u našoj zemlji i dalje prisutan, što se u društvu koje sve više toleriše nasilje i kršenje ljudskih prava često zaboravlja.

The Center of Modern Skills (CMS) warns the public about the fact that the new Skupština (Serbian Parliament) again doesn`t provide for adequate representation of women. The official lists of Members of Parliament announced by the State Election Commission show that just 21.6 percent of the MPs are women.

Centar modernih veština želi da skrene pažnju javnosti na činjenicu da ni u novom skupštinskom sazivu žene neće biti adekvatno zastupljene. Nakon održavanja današnje sednice RIK-a obelodanjena su imena budućih poslanika i poslanica u Narodnoj skupštini Republike Srbije i među njima je samo 21.6 odsto žena.
