POP (www.pop.ba) was initially a project titled Youth Partnership Programme, which outgrew its own framework in the first six years of implementation. The people involved in the project then decided to establish an organization that will continue to implement the mission and vision of the project in an augmented, higher quality form.

creACTive is non-governmental organization for promotion of creativity and active citizenship of young people. The main aim of the organization is to assist the personal development of young people through engaging them in non-formal education on a variety of themes.
View the creACTive static pageThe organization mainly works on organizing workshops, local initiatives, seminars, training courses, camps, volunteer actions and other activities for young people. One of the braches of the organization is Model of United Nations, which involves high school students into simulation of the work of United Nations, giving them an opportunity to practise their English and debate skills. The organization actively works on both local and national level; and it is also involved in implementation of international projects. One of creACTive’s main aims is to promote and encourage intercultural cooperation among the young people from Macedonia and the other countries from Europe. The work of creACTive is based on the principles of non-formal education, learning-by-experience and intercultural learning. It tends to contribute to the development of civil society in Macedonia, with a special accent to young people’s place in the social events and processes. We expect that the activities of creACTive will result in development of creative young people involved in the process of decision – making in their local communities. |

Justice Report is a specialist reporting agency focusing on war crimes trials taking place before local courts; development of the local legal system; and efforts to come to terms with the past. With its objective, timely and unbiased reports, BIRN's Justice Report provides a support network for media, the general public and displaced citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the world. Justice Report offers BiH, regional and international media, as well as the general public, regular, comprehensive, objective and reliable information on war crimes processes and other events, which helps people from Bosnia and Herzegovina to confront the past. Justice Report is the only agency providing comprehensive coverage of the War Crimes Chamber within the Court of BiH. Beside reports from War Crimes Chamber processes, we also offer analysis and monitor and report on changes in the legal system and alternative mechanisms for determining the truth about past events in BiH. All our reports are published in two languages at www.bim.ba and are available for free to all who are interested.

Serbian Refugee Council is an alliance of six local NGOs actively dealing with issues of refugees and internally displaced people, established with the view of enhancing their role and influence in finding sustainable long-term solutions for refugees and the displaced in Serbia and the western Balkans region, through joint advocacy and public policy development. Founding members of the Serbian Refugee Council are: Group 484, Hi Neighbour, International Aid Network (IAN), Novi Sad Humanitarian Centre (NSHC), Centre for civil society development PROTECTA and Serbian Democratic Forum Belgrade (SDF).

Non-smokers Educational Center (NVO Nepusacki Edukativni Centar - RP) is a non-governmental organization which includes non-smokers (people who don’t consume tobacco or tobacco products). The goal of the organization is to help non-smokers in realizing their human rights to a life with tobacco smoke, as well as help with resolving difficult social and economic situations. NEC-RP informs, educations, includes and affirms non-smokers, as well as other citizens of Serbia-Montenegro to realize a healthy lifestyle. NEC-RP releases the Non-smokers Bulletin (Nepusacki bilten NEC), as well as the Ecologolical Bulletin (Ekoloski bilten *EKO-NEC*) for cleaner nature in Serbia.

The Civil Society Development Foundation (FDSC) is a Romanian non-governmental organization founded in Bucharest in December 1994. FDSC’s mission is to increase the social impact of the Romanian NGOs by direct action and by developing their capacity through cooperation, networking, representation and services. Considering the diversity of nonprofit sector needs in Romania, FDSC assumed from the very beginning a variety of roles: grant distributor, resource center, nonprofit sector research center, and sector promoter. FDSC uses in house expertise as well as external collaborators to develop surveys on civil society.

Croatian Youth Network (CYN) is an alliance of 39 non-governmental organisations of youth and for youth in Republic of Croatia which acts as the national umbrella youth organisation (National Youth Council). CYN is a non-governmental, not-for-profit and non-partisan association founded in december 2002. CYN advocates and promotes the interests and positions of young people on the principles of tolerance, understanding and respect for their rights and needs. CYN as a national umbrella youth organisation consists of 39 youth organisations and organisations working for the youth which became members of the network on voluntary basis. Five of these organisations are active on national level, while 34 of them are local assotiations working in 12 Croatian regions.

NGO "Initiative for Peace" was founded on June 25, 2001 with the mission to improve interethnic relations in Kosovo society, and the vision: “By involvement in dialogue process and cooperation through activities, different ethnic groups will have the power to face different positive changes”. The organization involves ten people and is based in Peja/Pec, the second biggest city in Kosovo.

The activities of the association are directed at the achievement and improvement of social, economic and cultural position of persons with disabilities, action towards the bodies of legislative and executive authorities in terms of promotion and acceptance of a social model to provide for full protection of the disabled. One of the development goals, promoted with other organizations is the implementation of the Standard UN Rules for Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disability and Reduction of Poverty.

EKO Kvarner is an environmental association activie in the Kvarner area in Croatia. EKO Kvarner has been especially active in its opposition of the DruzbaAdria, international pipeline project, which is seen as a grave danger for the Adriatic Sea and Kvarner Bay in particular.
