13.12.2005 Sonja Biserko, President of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia, estimates that the sentences for the war crimes committed in Ovcara, near Vukovar, were adequate, having in mind that the maximum sentence at that period of time was 20 year in prison.

01.12.2005 Yesterday, November 30, the EU announced the start of a nationwide campaign to support youth activities and promote tolerance in Macedonia under the banner “together for youth”. The EU will provide €900,000 over the next 18 months for the project, which is managed by the European Agency for Reconstruction.
