The notorious bridge in Mitrovica
18.03.2008 A member of the United Nations police force in Kosovo has died of injuries he sustained in violent clashes with Serbian demonstrators in the divided town of Mitrovica. While, more than 150 people, including NATO and UN personnel, were wounded on Monday during running battles between peacekeepers and Serbs opposed to Kosovan independence.

27.02.2008 Creation of political independence starts with the declaration. Ideally, if all relations and interests in a given geographic area are harmonised, or solved, the start of independence gets its logical continuation in the UN, where that status of independent state is made formal. Obviously, Kosovo not exactly in that ideal position and it needs much more than just political independence.

20.02.2008 Početak stvaranja političke nezavisnosti jeste njeno proglašenje. U idealnom slučaju, kada su svi odnosi sa okruženjem i pojedinim zemljama kojima se na toj teritoriji prepliću interesi harmonični, ili bar rešeni, taj početak nezavisnosti ima svoj nastavak u sedištu Ujedinjenih nacija gde se status nezavisne države formalizuje. Kosovo očito nije u baš u toj idealnoj situaciji. A nije baš da mu je neophodna samo politička nezavisnost već mnogo, mnogo više od nje.
